COMPETITIVE
ECONOMY
Competitive 5v5 is MR12 bomb defusal — first to 13, with overtime when regulation ties. The round economy is where matches are actually won: managing your team's money across rounds matters as much as winning the duels. This guide covers the exact numbers the current pre-alpha build uses.
The Money Rules
Pistol-round wallet. Reset at match start and halftime.
Hard maximum. Every payout and refund is clamped to it.
Standard win payout for eliminating the enemy or running out the clock as CT.
Winning by bomb explosion or defusal pays more than a plain elimination.
Paid to the planter, once per round — even if the round is lost.
If the Ts plant but lose the round, the whole attacking side still gets paid.
Paid to the player who completes the defuse.
Everyone starts each MR3-style overtime block with a fresh, even wallet.
The Loss Ladder
Losing rounds still pays — and consecutive losses pay more, up to a cap. This is why a lost eco round is not a wasted round: it builds your loss streak and funds the next gun round. Winning any round resets the ladder back to the bottom.
Team-Buy Calls
The buy wheel includes built-in team-buy calls that broadcast your intended buy strategy through team chat. Buying as a team — everyone full, or everyone saving — is the single biggest coordination win in the mode.
ECO
Save round. Spend little or nothing, let the loss ladder build, and come back with a full buy next round.
FORCE
Spend what you have despite a weak wallet. High risk — a lost force usually means an eco follows.
HALF
Partial spend: keep enough in the bank to guarantee a full buy next round regardless of outcome.
FULL
Rifles, armor, and utility. The standard gun-round buy when the wallet allows it.
How the System Works
The buy window is short
Rounds open with a 15-second freeze and a 12-second buy window, inside your team's buy zone. Buying closes before the round goes live — decide fast and commit.
Buys are server-authoritative
Every purchase is re-validated by the server: buy window open, alive, inside your team's zone, correct team-restricted weapon, no duplicates, sufficient funds. A rejected buy rolls back cleanly.
Team kills cost money
Team-killing deducts $300 from your wallet on top of everything else it costs your team. Watch your spray.
Sell-back window
Misclicked? Purchases made this round can be sold back at the recorded price during the buy window. Picking up a dropped weapon invalidates the refund.
Duel has no economy
Duel 1v1 runs preset loadouts — no money, no buying. The economy is a Competitive-only system.
Skins are a separate wallet
Cosmetic credits in the Armory SHOP are a completely separate meta currency. They can never buy round-economy weapons, and round money can never buy skins.
